Invite a speaker
If you are a member of a group such as a church or Amnesty group you can invite a speaker to give an illustrated talk about the situation in Burma and on the Thai-Burma border.

If you are a teacher you can ask for a speaker to give your pupils an insight into one of the most troubled areas of the world. It might also be possible to link your school with one on the border, giving your pupils the opportunity to understand the lives of young people who have led a completely different existence from themselves, sometimes having endured highly traumatic experiences.

Exhibitions
BEP can provide substantial photographic exhibitions to illustrate the situation on the Thai/ Burma border. For examples of one exhibition, see Ben Manser 'Forgotten Friends' in the Gallery. This highlights the plight of children in the camps.
