There are a number of organisations throughout the world which are involved with the situation in Burma. BEP has links with a number of these including ZOA, World Education, Help Without Frontiers and the Karen Teacher Working Group.
Some are involved with education on the border and within Thailand. Some groups are primarily concerned with the situation of women and some are concerned with the political situation and human rights.
Of course all of these issues are inter-related and you will find that each website gives a flavour of a range of things which are happening in that area of the world.
